“This wine is a statement. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc, both barrel fermented and left on lees for a year. More increasingly, we are seeing oak matured styles like ours that are complex and extremely food friendly. We think its ultra complex, with great structure and a citric spine that will see it live for another 10 years in bottle – a true ‘Reserve’ style. It’s a cracker, and we only make the style in great white wine vintages. It’s worth having a case in the cellar.”
